Clarion Kajal Eyeliner Pencil

Now this is a Kajal eyeliner...
This is a really strange eyeliner. It is made of chacoal and canola oil. What was going through my head when I was purchasing this was, the canola oil part. I was imagining that having oli in it, I would apply it and get oil all over my eyelid and the black would hardly be there...Not so. This is diffently different from what I thought it would be like. It applies so smooth (like putting on butter), and it is a jet black colour when on. I expected it would start to fade after awhile of wear, but it didn't :o This lasts all day. Can it be smudged? Yes, it smudges so easliy and well. Smoke it, or apply it thick for a liquid liner look. Amazing eyeliner for the price I paid. $4 NZD, about $2.50USD.

Would I repurchase this eyeliner? probably. There are a lot of kajal liners, I might want to try others;)

Umm, but this need to be stored in a cool place. Because it is made of oil, it will melt,,omg, so wried. I keep mine in the fridge;)

Flamingo magic comb mascara

This is the New Flamingo Magic Comb Mascara-

Ok this is what I have to say about it.

It is a good mascara. The formula is much like chaarming cat, only perhaps thicker and kind of gooey. I haven't used this mascara much, maybe only 10 times, because I dont really like the brush it has. It is a comb brush. Now the problem with the brush is if you angle it wrong, you will end up with a massive big blurr of formula on your lashes, thankfully you can just comb them and it will come off, phew. As for the actual quality of the mascara, I would say its quite good. The colour is a lovely rich, deep-black. The waterproofness of this is like the chaarming cat mascara.
Volume is important to me in a mascara, and well, I find the flamingo to just coat my lashes in black. It doesn't add volume, maybe a little length but thats all. The flamingo mascara doesn't have any deeming qualities....

So this looks nice enough, the container, and the box it came in.

Would I purchase this mascara again? no, it is ok but I wouldn't buy it again.

Even though I wouldn't purchase the flamingo magic comb again, I did purchase the flamingo transplanting gel and fiber set off eBay recently. Because I didnt exectly have a problem with the flamingo formula, only the brush.

Flamingo mascara transplanting gel and fiber set. I purchased this for $4.15 USD off eBay, including shipping. Pretty cheap for a transplanting gel and fiber set. Once it arrives, I'll do a review on that too; hopefully be better the the magic comb.

Chaarming cat mascara

As my first blog, I'm doing a review on this new mascara I found.

So awhile back I purchased this mascara called 'Chaarming Cat mascara'; only because I liked the slinky white cat on the container! Sure its got a nice look to it, but what's inside counts. And I must admit, this is a really good mascara for the price. It has a really rich, black formula; it goes on easy and makes my lashes look a glossy, jet black. The brush is nice and grabs my lashes well. However, I do find that when applying this mascara, I end up getting a little on my eyelid and brow line, I'm very careful when applying it. I dont have this problem with my other mascara's though. It has great wear, stays on all day and keeps looking good. The packet says its waterproof, it is waterproof; I have trouble getting it off! First I have to wet my lashes, then gently pull off the tubes and use eye makeup remover. It doesn't give panda eyes!
I find the best way to apply is: wiggle the brush at the base of lashes and stroke up, just like most mascara's. For extra volume, apply mascara, wait 20 seconds and apply a another coat. This technique gives lovely, big, volumized lashes.

So it has its postives and its negitives this mascara.

Would I purchase again? Yes

This can be found for as little as $1.88 USD off eBay, with free shipping! Yay, free shipping..
